There are some cases where a Revit array is not enough to help users accomplish what they need. One of those cases is when the distance between each element needs to be different from each other. In this Mini-Training, attendees will explore an alternative way to do this. The presenter will set up a family that not only can mimic the way an array works, but also the ability to allow the user to set their own dimensions between elements.
• Discover an alternative way to create a manual “array”
• Learn how to set up reference planes and parameters
• Understand how to write the formulas needed for this workflow
• Learn some tips and trick that you can apply elsewhere
